Homevalue helps Peter McVerry Trust refresh their Residential Community Detox Centre

Noelle Woods - Peter McVerry Trust and Paul Candon - United Hardware Homevalue

Leading DIY, Hardware and Homeware group, Homevalue has this week delivered a range of materials and supplies to Peter McVerry Trust, including new:

  • three-seater benches
  • dining sets
  • picnic benches
  • BBQs and more

All to help support the charity in the development and maintenance of their on-site Residential Community Detox Centre in north county Dublin.

The delivery of equipment and materials will help support Peter McVerry Trust to upgrade and care for their Detox Centre throughout the year, one of the oldest services at Peter McVerry Trust, ensuring access for participants to a key space for the organisation.

The donation will help to support Peter McVerry Trust participants in what can be a difficult journey while in recovery and treatment and help create positive memories to carry with them as they start their new chapter upon completion of their treatment.

Earlier this year, Homevalue announced Peter McVerry Trust as their charity partner for 2022 which will see them support the national housing and homeless charity with a range of initiatives throughout the year including support for PMVT Learning Centre’s Junior Certificate students, and with the supply of equipment and materials in the development of new housing units.
