How does the WEEE service work?
This directive‘s main aim is to promote the correct disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). These products (WEEE) are taken back in our stores on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. All electrical retailers and wholesalers are legally obliged to accept WEEE back free of charge if a customer is making a similar product purchase. We will take back the product for free and ensure it is disposed of correctly.
What products can I return?
Good news, if it has a plug or battery, it can be recycled!
Where and how can I avail of this service in store?
Please visit one of our stores and speak with any member of our team who will advise you through this process. The old appliance can be returned to store on the day of purchase or at a later time approved by the store. You may need to provide proof of purchase of the similar product upon arrival. For electrical deliveries, please discuss with store at time of purchase for any electrical collections.
Does this service cover batteries?
Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge in our stores. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries.
Where else can I return old appliances or batteries?
